An Approach to Conflict 👨‍🚀

Over the years, I’ve learned how to pick my battles –– which ones to fight and which to let go or walk away from. I’ve discovered that not every conflict needs my engagement. As I said before, I guard my time. I also guard my health.

It’s not about shying away from or being afraid of conflict. I know I can learn lessons when conflict rears its head. It comes down to whether the conflict is worth the grind on my mental and physical health.

To help decide whether to stay in it or move from it, I ask myself three questions. What would I gain by pursuing the conflict? What do I lose? Which has more value or aligns with my goals? This approach to conflict has helped me. Conflict is inevitable, but living a happier life is based on choice.
